Allow me to introduce myself…

My name is Amy Springer and I have 24 years of decorating experience! I developed a passion for decorating cakes the summer I turned 19 and after I got my Bachelor’s in Teaching English from UNH, I decided to take my skills to the next level and attended the Le Cordon Bleu program at Atlantic Culinary Academy. When I returned back home to Maine, I was so lucky to befriend the owners of Reilly’s Bakery in Biddeford, and once they found out I could decorate, I hopped on board as their lead cake artist. This position has allowed me to create food art for the southern Maine community in a way I never dreamed of. The trust that both our customers and the owners of Reilly’s continue to have in me has helped my cake designs get featured in 5 magazines!

In 2017 I was asked to do a set of decorated cookies to match a baby shower cake I was designing. Little did I know that this would blossom into my own home bakery business so many years later! I now have the two best jobs possible: making beautiful cakes for Reilly’s, and also taking over the custom cookie business as my own.

Aside from making food art, I am the wife of Jason, the Step Mum of Jacey, and the dog mom of Hooper, Lucille and Daphne. I love reading (Stephen King is my favorite author!), painting watercolors (mostly black and whites of sharks), basketball (die hard Celtics fan), paddle boarding in Biddeford Pool, going to concerts of all genres, watching horror movies, and I am thoroughly obsessed with sharks.
